PROGRAM PILLARS

Dumaring Forest and River Collaborative Conservation Program is developed by five pillar organizations:

● KLK (Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd), as the conservation program initiator and funding provider

● Aksenta (PT Gagas Dinamiga Aksenta), as the conservation program developer, organizer and management

● Belantara (Yayasan Belantara Mandala Nusantara), as the community organizer

● Dumaring Village Government, as the lowest level government authority where the conservation program is implemented, that is authorized and mandated to regulate and manage the interests of the local community and resources they have, including human resources, natural resources and the environment, as an integral part of the village development

● KPH (Forest Management Unit) Berau Pantai, as the lowest level government authority for forestry affairs and forest protection and management with its work area covering 31 village administrative territories in four districts situated in the south-easthern part of Berau Regency administrative territory, including Dumaring Village; this institution is a technical management unit under the East Kalimantan Provincial Forestry Office, and not under Berau Regency Governme
